Per legislative Rules: LPNs are required to have the following:
- 400 hours of employment
- 24hrs. of continuing education with the required 2hrs veterans/mental health for veterans and their families and 3hrs substance abuse/drug diversion within those 24hrs (completed every two years on the even years)
- For new nurses or new to WV must complete 2hrs of end of life care with pain management (a one-time CE)
