​​​Per legislative Rules: LPNs are required to have the following: 

• ​400 hours of employment 
• 24hrs. of continuing education with the required 2hrs veterans/mental health for veterans and their families and 3hrs substance abuse/drug diversion within those 24hrs (completed every two years on the even years)
• For new nurses or new to WV must complete 2hrs of end of life care with pain management (a one-time CE)​​​

Moving or Endorsing into WV

You can ONLY get a nurse licensure compact (MULTISTATE) license in the state of your primary state of residency (PSOR)
